Configure TortoiseSVN for Auto-Logon Using Putty

Getting TortoiseSVN to stop prompting for a password can be a bit challenging. Here’s a step by step solution using Putty culled together from various sources on the internet.

  4. That was helpful. I did notice that the username is optional in the connection URL, since it’s already referred in the putty profile.

    So instead of svn+ssh://mcmeans@orion/usr/svn_repos/test svn+ssh://orion/usr/svn_repos/test should work. Since the profile orion has the username referred into it.
